Expansion board CAN_FD - a dedicated adapter that extends the utility of the DP4 tester and allows to support diagnostics and programming of the latest vehicle models using CAN FD (CAN Flexible Data-rate) communication protocol. Adapter designed to work with an additional extension module supporting CAN _FD communications.

Expansion board CAN_FD extends the currently used CAN protocol in two points:

first, the data phase transmission speed can be increased to more than 1 Mbit/s,

second, the number of data in one message frame is increased to 64 bytes.

Depending on the system, this allows for increased data flow as well as shorter software loading times.

*Please note that the CAN_FD Expansion board should be used together with the CAN_FD service board.
